About Sehhat Foundation

Founded in Danyore, Gilgit-Baltistan, to close two gaps at once: access to quality healthcare, and access to professional nursing education.

History & Mission

Healing and learning, built together

Sehhat Foundation was established to serve a region where both hospital beds and nursing seats were in short supply. Rather than building these separately, we built them as one institution — a working hospital that is also a teaching campus, so every patient benefits from close clinical supervision and every student learns on real cases from day one.

That founding decision still shapes how we operate today: our doctors teach, our clinical instructors treat patients, and our students rotate through the same wards that serve the community.
